Setting up agile pilot projects

Before the pilot: premises, degrees of freedom, objectives and initiation

  • Analysis of the necessary premises and degrees of freedom for an agile project in your company – e.g. in the areas of project planning, organization, reporting etc.
  • Conceptualization of the project (vision, objectives, resources etc.)
  • Setting up agile project structures (in non-agile organizations)
  • Initial introduction to basic agile principles for the stakeholders concerned and project resources
  • Support with initiating the project (e.g. initial announcement, team kick-offs etc.)

During the pilot: management, monitoring and adaptation

  • Support for the adaptation of procedures and the organization to fit in with agile principles (e.g. moderation of retrospectives, external review, Gemba walks etc.)
  • Support with stakeholder management and the management of expectations
  • Coaching of agile roles in the project
